Message : while I don't agree with how I was approached with your sales tatics I have never heard of you ripping off anyone. I was just mentioning that the vendor was very slow in getting the products out to everyone.

I don't know if you saw my reply to your post the other night - I wasn't willing to drop my price because I wasn't able to match Ryan's price. Simple as that. I work on a smaller margin so I don't have the same flexibility in my pricing as the direct jobbers. I'm not going to try matching a price and end up losing money on the sale.

I've had people contacting me and asking me to match so and so person's price but if I'm not willing/able to, I tell them "Sorry, I can't match it." If they want to purchase it from me, great, if not, no big deal.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion and can express it publicly. My reputation and service speaks for itself. I don't need to advertise. Honestly, I don't want to. I've gotten this far without spending a single penny on advertisement and I'll take my business further w/o the need for advertising. If your definition of terrible service is my unwillingness to match $XXXX.oo price then I don't know what to say. To be up front with you, I prefer not dealing with the people that are looking for bargain basement prices; those are the ones that are here for one purchase and gone for the next - no loyalty at all. I place my emphasis on my loyal customers. I spend time talking to them on AIM, ICQ, and at the events. I don't consider them just customers - they're buddies of mine. The business is just something extra. I've answered countless questions before I went into business and I'll continue to answer them while I'm in business (and when I end this business).

Making money isn't the ultimate reason as to why I do this.
I do it for the love of cars and helping out others.
